Workshops

I am now offering a two-day workshop. Each workshop is in two parts: a Friday evening 6:30 to 9:30 and a Saturday 10 am to 1pm. In the workshops, students learn how to create and arrange forms made from mixed media on Dura-Lar, similar to the forms used in my works (see Paroxyc Amoebosis and Blood Nest, below). There is ample time for practice. Some experience with watermedia (watercolor, thinned acrylic washes, inks) may be helpful but is not necessary. The workshop is $60 per student, with a $20 fee for materials. A minimum registration of four students  is required - bring your friends!

Students will complete a small 2D piece in class and will be able to continue working in this media on their own afterward.
